FAQ

Questions owners ask us.

Straight answers. If yours is not here, text us.

Is the demo really free?

Yes. We design your new homepage first, at no cost. If you love it, we build the rest. If you don't, you owe nothing and you keep your time.

How much does a website cost?

$2,000 for the complete site. Most owners pay in two payments of $1,000, which also includes a free marketing plan. If money is tight, you can pay in four payments of $500 for the website only.

How fast can my site be live?

Your homepage demo is ready in about 48 hours after a short call. Once you make the first payment, your full site goes live in about 2 weeks, once we have your photos and info.

Are there monthly fees?

Your $2,000 covers the build. Once the final payment is made, everything is yours: you can keep your site with us on an optional care plan, or move it anywhere you like. Any cost is always agreed with you up front, never a surprise.

Who owns the website?

You do. It works like a car title: your site can be live on our hosting while you pay, and once the final payment is made, your domain, your code and your content are transferred to you.

Got burned by a web guy before?

We hear that a lot. That is why you see the work before you pay, you pay in parts, and you can text the person who builds your site. And once the final payment is made, everything is in your name.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. Every site comes with an owner panel, so you can change specials, hours, events and photos from your phone. No developer needed.

I already have a Facebook page. Do I need a website?

Facebook is great for posts, but customers searching on Google want your menu, hours and phone number in one place they can trust. A website gives you that, and it is yours.

I already have a website. Can you redo it?

Yes. We can redesign it from scratch or improve the pages that matter most. Send us the link and we will start with a free demo of your new homepage.

Will this put me first on Google?

Nobody can honestly promise rankings, and we won't. What we do promise: a site that loads fast on phones, makes it easy to call, get directions or ask for a quote, and is set up the right way for Google. The marketing plan shows you the next steps.

What do you need from me?

A short call and anything you already have: your logo, a few photos, your menu or services. If you don't have photos, we can work with what is on your Facebook page to start.

What is in the free marketing plan?

A simple plan for your business: Google Business Profile fixes, steps to get more reviews and what to post. It comes with the two-payment option.

Do you do social media or ads too?

Yes, later and only if you want it. Social media and paid ads are separate services. The website comes first.

Are you local?

Yes. iDev is based in Dixon, Illinois. We work with businesses in Dixon, Sterling, Rock Falls and the rest of the Sauk Valley.
