Who we are
This website is run by iDev, a web design and development studio based in Dixon, Illinois, United States, owned by Marcelo Fernández. We are the ones responsible for the information you send us here. You can reach us at contact@idev.software.
What we collect
When you ask for a free demo or send us a question we collect what you type in the form: your business name, your email, your phone number and, if you add them, your current website, what you need and your question. We also record basic technical details with your request: the page you came from, campaign tags in the link (like utm_source), the date and time, your browser type and an approximate location (city and region) based on your internet address. If you start the form and leave before sending it, we keep what you typed once you enter a valid email or phone, so you do not lose your progress and we can follow up about your demo.
How we use it
We use your information to contact you about your demo by phone call, text message or email, to prepare your demo, and to keep a record of our conversation. If you become a client, we use it to deliver your website and to send invoices. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.
Text messages
By sending the form you agree that iDev can email, call or text you about your demo. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything.
Cookies and ads
This site uses necessary cookies to work and to remember your cookie choice. If you allow analytics, we use our own first-party cookie, with no third parties, to understand which pages are visited and how the demo form is used. If you allow marketing cookies, we use the Meta pixel to measure our ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Who helps us
We use trusted providers to run this site and our tools: website hosting (Vercel), our database and customer system, email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe, which handles card details directly; we never see or store your full card number) and, with your consent, Meta for ad measurement. They only process information to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep demo requests for up to 24 months after our last contact, and client records for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us at contact@idev.software and we will answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is for business owners. It is not meant for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.

About these terms
These terms apply to this website, run by iDev, a web design and development studio in Dixon, Illinois. By using the site or sending a request, you agree to them.
Our service
iDev designs and builds websites for local businesses: a free homepage demo first, then, if you choose to go ahead, your complete website with an owner panel to update it, built for phones and set up for Google. The two-payment option also includes a marketing plan and the optimization of your Google Business Profile, Facebook page and Instagram profile.
Prices
The complete website is $2,000, paid as two payments of $1,000 (website, marketing plan and profile optimization) or four payments of $500 (website only). iDev Care, our website maintenance plan, is optional and costs $249 a month. Larger projects are quoted separately in writing.
Delivery
Your homepage demo is ready in 48 to 72 hours, sent as a link to review. Your full site goes live in about two weeks after the first payment, once we have your photos and information.
Refunds and cancellations
Refunds and cancellations follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy (Refund & Cancellation Policy).
The free demo
When you ask for a free demo, we may design a homepage concept for your business. The demo is free and creates no obligation for you or for us. We decide which requests we can take on. A demo is shared with you privately as a link to review and is not published without your permission.
Prices and payments
Prices and payment plans shown on this site describe our current offer. The exact work, price, timeline and payment schedule for your project are confirmed in writing before any payment. Nothing on this site is a binding quote by itself.
Ownership
Ownership of your website, domain, code and content is transferred to you once the final payment is made, as set out in your written agreement. Until then, your site may be hosted and managed by iDev.
Timelines
Timelines like "48 to 72 hours" and "about 2 weeks" are honest estimates. They depend on getting your photos, information and approvals on time.
Concept work
Some projects on this site are concept redesigns made to show what is possible. They are clearly labeled and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the businesses shown.
Using this site
Please do not misuse the site, try to break it, or send false information through the form. The design, text and code of this site belong to iDev.
Limits
We work hard to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, iDev is not liable for indirect losses from using the site.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States.

The free demo
Your homepage demo is free and comes with no obligation. If you do not love it, you owe nothing.
Before we start building
Your first payment is fully refundable if you cancel before we start building your full site. We usually start right after the first payment, so please tell us as soon as you can.
After work has started
Once work on your full site has started, payments already made are not refundable. If you change your mind before delivery, you can cancel the remaining payment or payments. In that case the site is not transferred to you, and the work done so far is not refunded.
Ownership
Your site, its code and your domain become yours after the final payment.
iDev Care
iDev Care, our website maintenance plan, is optional and costs $249 a month. You can cancel it anytime, with no penalty. It stops at the end of the current month.
